ABSTRACT
Two motivation theories, Hierarchy of needs theory by Abraham Maslow and Two Factor theory by Frederick Herzberg are compared and the concepts of both the theories are explained. The measures of effectiveness and also how managers would know if the motivation theories being used are having positive effect on their employees has been researched. Frederick Herzberg had close links with Maslow and believed in a two-factor theory of motivation. Three Assessments, Least proffered co worker scale, Leadership scale and “TT” Leadership……
